About Metro College Activities & Excursions

There are so many things to see and do around Sydney, and our activities coordinator, Chris Harris, organises innovative and exciting activities which appeal to students with all sorts of different interests. 

School Excursions and Activities are an important part of school life in Australia. These programs are designed in line with the study curriculum at Metro College, so students are encouraged to attend planned activities to meet the outcomes of course requirements.

Excursions give students an opportunity to experience Australian culture and discover what makes Australians unique as well as give greater depth to the classroom experience.

Previous Excursions

Some recent Metro College Excursions and Activities have included:

• a day trip to the Floriade Festival in Canberra
• a day trip to along the Sydney Coast walk, including Bondi Beach
• a day at Randwick race course
• a harbour cruise dance party
• a day trip to Taronga Park Zoo, catching the ferry on Sydney Harbour
